Union Minister for Highways and Road Transport Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone of the 93.2 km long Kanpur Ring Road project of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on January the 8th.
After receiving information from the ministry, NHAI officials began preparations on a war footing. The ministry informed NHAI project managers via email about Gadkari's arrival at the programs organized in Rae Bareli, Kanpur and Unnao districts.
On January 8, the four-lane Lalganj-Unnao expressway will be inaugurated for the first time in Rae Bareli. From there, the Union Minister will reach Kanpur where he will lay the foundation stone of NHAI's ambitious Ring Road project. He will also inaugurate the four-lane Kanpur-Aligarh GT Road and the six-lane Chakeri-Prayagraj highway.
