Here's another good news for train passengers! Indian Railways has expanded the services of the country's 34th Vande Bharat Express train. This semi-high speed train was stopped by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 24, 2023. Currently, this new age train runs between Ahmedabad and Jamnagar railway stations.

New Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Junction Vande Bharat Express Route:-

Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Junction-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express services have been extended to Udhna railway station. The train is maintained and operated by the Western Railway (WR).

Distance and Travel Time of Jamnagar-Udhna Vande Bharat Express:-

The Ahmedabad-Udhna Vande Bharat Express train will cover a distance of 560 km in less than five hours. This will be the fastest train on the route followed by Shalimar Superfast Express and Saurashtra Mail. Both the trains cover the same distance in 09:58 hrs and 10:16 hrs respectively.

Frequency and Coach Composition of Jamnagar-Udhna Vande Bharat Express:-

The train number 22925/22926 Jamnagar-Udhna Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week except Tuesday. The train is composed of eight coaches – AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. It will have a capacity of 530 passengers.

Stoppage of 22925/22926 Jamnagar-Udhna-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express:-

During its journey between Jamnagar and Udhna, this Vande Bharat Express train will halt at seven stations. These are – Sabarmati Junction, Sanand, Viramgam Junction, Surendranagar, Wankaner Junction, Rajkot Junction, and Jamnagar railway stations.
