The second (semi-high-speed) Vande Bharat express (Secunderabad-Tirupati) from Secunderabad from Hyderabad to Tirupati will be inaugurated on April 8, 2023, among other projects, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a ceremony in Hyderabad that will cost Rs 113.55 billion.
PM Modi will lay the foundations for six National Highway (NH) projects and the redevelopment and modernization of the Secunderabad railway station during his visit to Hyderabad. These projects are expected to cost Rs 7.15 billion and Rs 78.64 billion, respectively. The doubling work on the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar railway line, which cost around Rs 14.10 billion, and various development projects at Bibinagar and AIIMS, which cost approximately Rs 13.66 billion, are also expected to be inaugurated.
In addition, PREMIER Modi will be present at the opening of 13 new MMTS Phase-II services between Bolarum-Medchal and Falaknuma-Umdanagar.
In addition, two more of the Bharat express routes connecting Secunderabad and Pune and Kacheguda and Bengaluru are expected to pass through the capital of Telangana.
The opening of these construction projects is an important step towards improving Hyderabad's transport and infrastructure. Better connection and transport options for locals will be made possible by the introduction of the Vande Bharat Express and the MMTS Phase-II services. This action is expected to increase the economic growth of the state of Telangana and raise the general standard of living for its inhabitants.
