Here comes Vertiplane X3, India's fastest hybrid e-VTOL drone

Gurgaon-based leading drone delivery startup TechEagle today launched the Vertiplane X3, India's fastest hybrid electric drone for vertical takeoff and landing (e-VTOL), at the E-Commerce Logistics Summit 2022 in Mumbai.

The newly launched drone has hybrid helicopter and airplane capabilities, allowing it to take off and land vertically like a helicopter without the need for a runway.

VERTIPLANE X3 stands for VERTI (Flying vertically, landing and taking off like a helicopter) + Airplane (can cruise fast and travel long distances like a passenger plane), X3 is the model number in the VERTIPLANE series.

The Vertiplane X3 offers a maximum speed of 120 km/s with a distance of 100 km and a payload of 3 kg. It can travel across different terrains to take cargo and services to locations where conventional transportation would take hours or even days.

TechEagle's Made-In-India drone aims to address a number of challenges across industries, including improved access to healthcare in remote areas, faster hyper-local and e-commerce demands, and demands of the maritime and defense industry. industry.

TechEagle tries to transport healthcare loads such as blood, platelets, poisons, drugs and vaccinations to hard-to-reach locations.

For e-commerce, the drone solves problems related to last-mile and middle-mile deliveries that would otherwise require a complicated and sophisticated logistics network.

“We have always focused on providing solutions that benefit every individual in every nook and corner of the world, and we are designing products that are robust enough to deliver such services. We plan to launch by the end of next year deliver nearly 10,000 parcels a day," Singh concluded on an optimistic note.
