Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP), an integrated fund and development management platform, has leased more than 70,000 square feet of self-contained storage facility to remote logistics (3PL) start-up Emiza at its flagship industrial and logistics campus in Bhiwandi near Mumbai.
Emiza will serve more than 120 direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) brands across the broad spectrum of beauty, personal care, cosmetics, fashion, lifestyle, electronics, appliances, home, kitchen, food and power supply of this new facility.
“Our partnership with Welspun One Logistics Parks in Bhiwandi will enhance our ability to equip marketplace models and D2C brands with end-to-end warehousing and fulfillment solutions,” said Ajay Rao, founder and CEO of Emiza.
The logistics start-up will have a total of 150 employees operating from the newly leased facility at Welspun One Bhiwandi.
“We want to contribute to a growing and dynamic start-up like Emiza by enabling them to deliver new supply chain solutions while building smarter 3PL strategies,” said Anshul Singhal, general manager of Welspun One Logistics Parks.
Emiza is also exploring multiple locations with Welspun One in regions like Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai based on the expansion plan with larger buildings.
