AA Holdings, an industrial and storage development and financing company, led by real estate veteran Abhijit Verma, has entered into a strategic partnership with logistics development company Avinya Industrial and Logistic Park to enable all small lessors and aggregators across the country to acquire high-quality develop storage infrastructure.

Through this partnership, the two entities aim to develop 20 million square feet of land parcels across the country over the next 3 years to contribute to the establishment of a grassroots level warehousing ecosystem.

The joint venture will play a vital role in further expanding the burgeoning development of storage infrastructure in the country, which is currently limited to only the top 8-10 cities.

This will enable local landlords and buying agents to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to attract the right clients and properly use their real estate assets as India looks to become a US$5 trillion economy.

Commenting on the launch of his new venture, Abhijit Verma, Managing Director, AA Holdings said: “India is the fastest growing storage market in the world, propelled by the rapid growth of e-commerce, the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax and the improving road infrastructure. The company aims to combine its knowledge and expertise to deliver tailor-made solutions to landowners and aggregators to support both ends of the spectrum and help businesses across the country.
