Ayesa India was awarded a Rs 74.8 million contract from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the service of the detailed design consultant (DDC) of a new Automated People Mover (APM) system under Delhi's Central Vista.

This company and its Spanish parent company Ayesa Ingeniera y Arquitectura S.A.U bid for this contract (Package DCCD-04). They would design and recommend alternatives for all civil, architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical works.

The approximately 3 km long underground A.P.M. ring line in Delhi, which has four proposed stations, will connect the Central Secretariat Station, which serves the yellow and purple lines of the Delhi Metro, with new governance structures to be built as part of the Central Vista Redevelopment Project.

In February 2022, a MoU was signed for the development of the project by Rijkswaterstaat (CPWD) and DMRC.
