Indo-national subsidiary Kineco has received an order of ₹1.13 billion for interior works of Vande Bharat semi-high-speed trains to be manufactured at Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai.

Kineco also received the largest order of 68 train fronts for the Vande Bharat trains, the parent company said in a regulatory filing.

Kineco is one of the leading suppliers of composite technology for railways and defense. It also makes fibre-reinforced plastic pressure vessels for chemical process and water filtration plants.

Railway's product portfolio includes railcar interiors, toilet modules, aerodynamic front ends and driver's cab interiors and hard seating systems.
