Water Metro services will begin in September after Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) received two additional boats from the Cochin Shipyard.

The boats undergo a month of rigorous technical testing before being put into service.

A KMRL official claims that four electric hybrid boats have already been delivered and a fifth is on its way.
