A tender for the construction of a 14.52 km six-lane bridge over the Ganga between Sherpur in Danapur and Dighwara in Saran district has been released by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

The future project includes slopes at Gangahara in the river zones between the Ganga streams, a 9.45 km bridge and a 5.07 km access road. The selected qualifying company will be announced at the end of September.
