Construction of the Navi Mumbai International Airport has reached an important milestone. The city and industrial Development company: (CIDCO) reportedly has bought all the land needed for the development of the project. The 3,070 buildings in the project area have been cleared by state city planning desk. Churches, communal temples, public and private buildings, schools and cemeteries were among these.

In addition, all necessary and important pre-development work been to the airport region finished by CIDCO.
