The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has awarded the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Sarjapur-Hebbal metro line project to Mumbai-based RINA Consulting.

RINA's engineering and infrastructure industry provides consulting services to the infrastructure, transportation and logistics markets, including ports and shipping, railways, roads and highways, and buildings.

BMRCL had invited tenders to create a DPR for the proposed 37 km line of Namma Metro via Agara, Koramangala and Diary Circle. Ten firms expressed interest, including Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES), Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System, Korea Railroad Technical Corporation, Urban Mass Transit Company, Consulting Engineers Group, Tractebel Engineering, Aarvee Associates and RINA.
