Construction of 111 pillars between Porur-Poonamallee in Chennai
 
Chennai :

No fewer than 111 pilots have been built and 342 more pilots will be built to establish the Erohogoda metro railway line between Porur and Poonamallee in this phase 2 project of Chennai Metro, about 7.94 km.

The line is being built for Rs 1,147 crore.

Porur-Poonamallee, the shipwrecked in June 2023, is part of corridor-3 of 118.9 km long phase-2 from Lighthouse to Poonamallee.

On P route Porur-Poonamallee, work is also underway on a 2.3 km viaduct and the Kumananchavadi to Karayanchavadi junction. At that moment, the pillars are being built in Kattupakkam.

MA Siddique, the day-to-day running almighty director of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), inspects the weekly construction site at Poonamallee in Saligramam.
