Godrej & Boyce told media that his company Godrej Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineering (MEP), has been awarded a MEP contract worth Rs 107 crore for the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) project.
Godrej Group said the project's work includes the development of a Multi-Model Transportation Hub (MMTH) to be built between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the BIA and occupy an area of ​​approximately nine lakh sq ft.
After Terminal 2 is operational, the MMTH will be able to meet the current and future needs of both people and baggage in the airport area.
According to a statement, the aim of the MMTH is to have closed parking spaces with retail development on the ground floor. With the development of 75 km of pipelines and 200 km of cables, Godrej MEP will be able to complete and deliver the project in just under six months.
