JNPA seeks to dismiss Adani Ports plea against tender disqualification

Mumbai :

After the Board of Trustees of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) announced it had postponed the opening of the bids until June 15, Bombay Supreme Court adjourned hearing on Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) plea to challenge the disqualification. of its bid for the upgrade of the container terminal in Navi Mumbai. The case is reportedly set to be heard by a regular bank on June 9.

JNPA has requested that the plea be dismissed, stating that the court, which does not have the expertise to examine the "conditions of the state's current economic activities," cannot intervene in the plea.
