A precast cement segment of the upcoming Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) high-speed corridor recently slipped on a construction site near Modi Nagar North station. The segment fell close to the barricades during a load test.

The segment slipped and approached the barricade while testing the launch bar at Modi Nagar North station, according to reports announced by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), which is implementing the project.

Launch girders are mounted on piers and are used to connect prefabricated segments together to form the viaduct, on which tracks will later be laid.
