L&T Metro Rail will be introducing parking charges at Nagole Metro Station from August 25 and at Miyapur Metro Station from September 1. Trial runs have been conducted at Nagole Parking to assess the efficiency of various systems. The parking lots at these Metro stations are managed by L&TMRHL.

L&TMRHL has started creating awareness among passengers about the upcoming parking charges. According to L&TMRHL, the parking facilities at these stations will be clearly marked for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, with improved amenities like bio-toilets for the convenience of passengers. The company assured that there will be 24x7 CCTV surveillance, ground security and an app-based payment option through QR code.

L&TMRHL said in a statement that it was confident that these improvements would provide a safer, more comfortable and better organised parking experience.

For parking two-wheelers, L&T MEHL charges Rs 10 for up to two hours, Rs 25 for up to eight hours and Rs 40 for up to 12 hours, with a surcharge of Rs 5 for each additional hour thereafter.
