Essar Shipping reported a loss of Rs 0.53 billion in the March 2024 quarter on lower revenues. It had posted Rs 0.363 billion in profit for the period, after share of associate's profit in the previous year period.

The company's total revenues fell to Rs 0.13 billion from Rs 0.27 billion in the January-March period of FY23. Essar Shipping is part of the Essar Group and has more than forty years of experience in owning and operating maritime assets.
