Arvato, a leading provider of logistics and e-commerce services, has announced a significant expansion in the United Kingdom market through the acquisition of the Avon cosmetics company’s site in Corby, East Midlands.

This move follows Arvato’s successful management of Avon’s logistics operations in Italy since October 2022.

The acquisition includes a 31,000 sqmt warehouse and 6,000 square mt of office space in Corby, a strategic location for logistics operations. Additionally, Arvato will be taking over the warehousing and transport management for Avon’s entire UK business. This move ensures continuity of service for Avon while bringing their UK operations under the expertise of Arvato’s logistics network.

The Corby site boasts a prime location within the renowned “Golden Logistics Triangle” of the Midlands. This central position offers excellent access to the national highway and freeway network, facilitating efficient distribution across the UK. Furthermore, the acquisition includes the onboarding of Avon’s 81 Corby-based employees, strengthening Arvato’s team with experienced personnel.
