Seaco was formed in 1998 as a 50/50 joint venture between General Electric Capital Corporation and Sea Containers Ltd. Seaco is a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Sea Containers Ltd (GSCL), a Bermuda company. HNA Group Co Ltd., headquartered in the PRC, is a conglomerate with subsidiaries engaged in aviation, tourism, logistics and financial services with significant operations globally. HNA has more than 410,000 employees worldwide and is one of the largest non-governmental owned companies in the PRC. Bohai Capital indirectly owns 100% of the equity interests of GSCL. HNA indirectly owns the majority of the shares of Bohai Capital. The shares of Bohai Capital are publicly traded on the Shenzen Stock Exchange.
