United Space Alliance (USA) is a space-race heavyweight (each of the Space Shuttles -- Discovery, Atlantis, and Endeavour -- weighs 173,000 pounds). A joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Boeing, USA was established in 1996 to consolidate NASA's various Space Shuttle contracts under a single entity.
