Marquis Jet, through an alliance with fractional jet ownership company NetJets, offers short-term use of private jets for both businesses and individuals. The compays buys shares in NetJets planes, then sells access to customers in blocks of flight time. For a single payment, customers receive a Marquis Jet Card entitling them to 25 hours in the air. Marquis Jet offers a choice of about 10 aircraft models from the NetJets fleet; services are available in the US and in Europe. CEO Kenny Dichter and vice chairman Jesse Itzler founded Marquis Jet in 2001.
