Loganair provides help to anyone needing to make a run throughout the UK. Providing connection services for British Airways, the Scottish carrier serves about 20 destinations in the UK and Ireland with a fleet of about 10 Saab 340s, some five Britten Norman Islanders, and two Twin Otters. Loganair also carries cargo and provides engineering services. In May 2004 the company was awarded a contract to provide flights between Dublin and Derry and Knock in Ireland. Loganair was founded in 1962 as a single Piper Aztec that operated air-taxi services for Logan Construction.
